Virtual Medical Assistant is a Mednex Group service built for healthcare providers and practices, focused on one thing: keeping independent practices' front-office and documentation work moving, without asking them to hand over control of their systems, their patients, or their clinical decisions. Backed by 28 years of healthcare industry experience, we provide trained remote healthcare administrative and medical-scribe support for independent US practices. Our team works within client-approved systems, scripts, permissions, and workflows to support patient communication, scheduling, insurance administration, documentation, and front-office operations. Virtual Medical Assistant is a brand of Mednex Group LLC, a company registered in Wyoming that supports US healthcare practices through a distributed international operating team.

What We Do

Virtual Medical Assistant supports the administrative and documentation side of running an independent practice: patient communication, scheduling, insurance and benefits verification, prior-authorization administration, referral coordination, follow-up and recall, records coordination, EHR administrative tasks, inbox management, and medical scribe support. What We Don't Do

Billing and revenue-cycle work. Medical billing, coding, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and credentialing are not part of what Virtual Medical Assistant does. That work is handled by a separate Mednex Group brand: Practice Revenue Partners. We keep these functions separate on purpose - the two require different systems, training, and scopes of access.

Clinical decision-making. Virtual medical assistants support approved administrative workflows. They do not diagnose, prescribe, give medical advice, interpret test results, determine medical necessity, make clinical decisions, or approve prior authorizations. Payers make authorization decisions, and clinical decisions remain with your licensed providers.

How Our Team Operates

Mednex Group LLC is registered in Wyoming and supports US healthcare practices through a distributed international operating team, not a single staffed office. In practice, this means:

• Your VMA works remotely, inside your own systems and under the access and permissions your practice defines
• We do not claim a staffed local office in any city, local employees in every region, or an official partnership with any specific EHR vendor
• Team members are trained specifically for the services and systems your practice uses, as defined in your onboarding scope and access agreement

We'd rather state this plainly than imply otherwise with vague "local team" language. If a physical local office matters to your decision, this isn't the right fit - and we'd rather say so up front.

What Makes This Different From a Generalist Outsourcing Shop

• Specialist scope, not a catch-all contract. We support administrative and medical-scribe workflows only - a defined list of named services.
• Trained on your actual systems, not a generic script. Onboarding includes training on your practice's specific EHR, phone system, scripts, and escalation rules.
• Transparent about being remote. We describe our operating model accurately rather than implying a local office that doesn't exist.
